CARDS
There are two types of cards in Spells of Genesis: blockchain (Ethereum, Counterparty and Klaytn) cards and in-game cards. You can buy blockchain cards directly from the Askian Merchant. The in-game cards can be bought in the in-game shop with in-game currencies. Upgrade your cards on their maximum level, then fuse two copies of the same card to get a stronger one. The fully leveled-up cards can be “blockchanized” – withdrawn to your own blockchain wallet.

BLOCKCHAIN CARDS
Spells of Genesis currently contains over 300 blockchain cards and we keep releasing new ones!
SoG is compatible with three different blockchains: Bitcoin (on the Counterparty layer), Ethereum and Klaytn.
To be able to use your blockchain cards inside the game, you need to bind a compatible blockchain wallet to your game account first.

BLOCKCHAINIZATION
Level your cards on their maximum level, then fuse two copies of the same card to get a stronger one and level it up again.
Then the fully leveled-up cards can be “blockchanized”. Blockchainization is a Spells of Genesis unique feature allowing you to exchange your in-game cards for their blockchain copies. This happens on the Klaytn blockchain.

IN-GAME CARDS
You can buy in-game cards at the in-game store. Get a random card, or a cards pack.
You can use different in-game currencies: gold, or gems to have a better chance to get a rare, epic or even a legendary card!

Collect in-game and blockchain cards and combine them to build the strongets Team! Purchase new cards at the in-game store with gold or gems, or get blockchain cards from the Askian Merchant using different cryptocurrencies.
UPGRADING
Crystals, one of the in-game currencies, can be used to upgrade – level up – your cards to increase their power.
The number of levels – evolutions – of each card varies according to its rarity: common cards have 3 levels, rare cards have 4 levels, epic cards have 5 levels and legendary cards have 6 levels.
The cost of of upgrading a card increases with the card’s level.
FUSING
When you have 2 copies of the same card, both upgraded to their maximum level, you can fuse them and receive a new card – a double-fused one.
The double-fused card can be upgraded again using crystals.
Then you can repeat the fusion: you’ll need two double-fused cards upgraded on their maximum level and then you can fuse them again to obtain a new, quad-fused card.
CRYSTALLIZATION
If you have some in-game cards you don’t want or need for your collection, you can sell them (crystallize them). In return you will receive a certain amount of crystals that you can use to upgrade and fuse your other cards.
The amount of crystals received varies according to the rarity of crystallized card. You will receive more crystals for cards that have already been leveled up or fused.
